Packers-Daring Digits

Sunday fun day!  FOOTBALL!!! Yah!  Well I know not everyone loves football, but I sure do!  So, when the Greenbay Packers play my nails are dedicated to them.  And I have a good one for you today!  I recently purchased some great polishes from Daring Digits.   If you love indies i would suggest checking her out!  The polish I'm going to show you today is called Packers!  So for this mani I used

Sinful Colors-Snow Me White
Daring Digits-Packers

Here are the polishes I used

I used 2 coats of Snow Me White and 2 coats of Packers topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

And here are the results

I don't know why it seems like there is a difference between a white background and a black one, but to me there is.  Packers is an excellent glitter polish "packed" full with glitter.  One coat would have been enough, but I loves me some glitter!  I have a yellow I'm going to try this over next!  Hope  you enjoyed and GO PACK GO!!!  Until next time...

I am sooo excited because today I am working on my nails for my first challenge!!  It's Halloween themed, which I love!  I've also decided to participate in a Breast Cancer Awareness challenge that you can find here.  It's called Polish Us Pink and every Monday you do pink nails to support breast cancer awareness.

For today I am going to show you a mani I did using another polish by Lucky 13.  For this mani I used
2 coats of Kleancolor Concrete Grey
1 coat of Lucky 13 Bone Daddy

Here are the polishes I used

Here it is in the sunlight

And here it is in the shade

Again, if you aren't too distracted by the raggedyness of my cuticles you can see the awesomeness of Bone Daddy!  I love black and white so I love this polish.  It's filled with glitter so no fishing here!  As you can see, one coat covers nicely.  Again, another awesome polish from Lucky 13!
By the way, there is much improvement with my cuticles since this picture was taken so I promise they won't always look this gross!
I hope everyone has a great Saturday!  Until next time...

Happy Friday to everyone!  And a happy Friday indeed.  Today was one of the best Fridays eva!!!  I got free stuff in the mail, which is hard to beat!  I won a Sebastian Shine System Kit from CosmoProf!  It came with shampoo, conditioner, thermal styling protector (which has glitter in it!), styling wax, and color revitalizer!  And they are all full sized!  I have used Sebastian products and I must say they are AWESOME!
Enough about that on to the polish!!  I'm so excited to start working on my nails for the Halloween challenge I'm going to participate in!  You can check out the challenge here.   I've been thinking up some pretty good ideas (with the help of my boyfriend!).
My mani today includes one of the first indie polishes I ever bought.  It's by Lucky 13 and it's called Ragdoll.  You can check out Lucky 13's Facebook page here.  She makes some really great polishes!  For this mani I used
2 coats of OPI It's Totally Fort Worth It!
1 coat of Kleancolors Candy Cast in Neon Aqua (accent nail)
1 coat of Lucky 13 Ragdoll

All 3 of these polishes are great.  No complaints with any of them.  And they do coordinate quite well, if I do say so myself.  Now, on to the pics!

Here are the polishes I used

In the shade

I apologize for my raggedy cuticles.  I'm working on those for sure!  Ragdoll is an awesome blend of turquoise, silver, lavender, and yellow hex glitter with teeney- tiny purple glitter in a sheer grey base.  Applies like a charm, no fishing for glitter in this one!  I have a few other polishes from Lucky 13 and would recommend these polishes to anyone looking for an awesome indie!  That's all for now!  Have a great night!

My first post!!!

I am sooo excited to have my own blog!  I've been a follower of several polish blogs over the past few months and I wanted my own to share my love with all of you!  I have been accumulating more and more polishes lately and more and more pictures of my "artwork" and I need a place to assemble my collection so this is where I start!
I would have to say that 85% of my manis include some sort of glitter.  I LOVE glitter!  So, expect to see alot of it here!  I also want to try do a couple challenges and I figured this would be one of the easiest ways to get that started and a place to display all my trials and errors.  There is an awesome one I want to try that starts October 1.  You can find out the info here, LacquerDreams
I am fairly new to the indie polish world, but have quickly become obsessed!  I've only purchased a few so far but, I love them all!  I can't wait to share all my new found beauties!
This first post is going to be a quick one since I'm still trying to figure out all this stuff.  I'm dedicating this post to the Greenbay Packers.  I love them almost as much as I love polish!  Everytime they play I paint my nails with their colors.  For this mani I used WNW in French White Creme and Sinful Colors in Lets Meet and San Francisco.  I topped all that with Kleancolors Green Addicts-Starry Meteor and a coat of Seche Vite.  Hope you like!

Here are the polishes I used...

And here are my results...

I am still trying to master how to take awesome photos of my nails so I apologize for now.  I will get better!  Until next time...
